Fashion & Form

In my early 20’s I had the honor of attending Parsons School of Design in New York City. Thus ending up with many fashion illustrations from my four years in the program. These sketches for so long felt untouchable, as if adding to them or even ripping them apart would ruin them or make the skills I had poured myself into developing through hours of practice disappear. As I have grown away from fashion (i will always love a good outfit don’t get it twisted) I have realized I love working with all these friends from projects passed, giving these bodies a new life, bringing souls to each of them, personalities, and even a little chaos. Creating a kind of poem for my eyes with mixed media collage, my trusty marker, and perhaps a few other goodies depending on the piece.
